Renormalization-group study of the critical behavior of the magnetoelectric susceptibility in antiferromagnets
Abstract
Using Landau-Ginzburg-Wilson Hamiltonians and renormalization-group arguments, it is shown that βα, the exponent characterizing the critical behavior of magnetoelectric susceptibility tensor elements in the region immediately below the antiferromagnetic ordering temperature, is equal to β, the critical exponent of the staggered magnetization. © 1978 The American Physical Society.
