Molehill: An instructional system for Smalltalk programming

View publication

Abstract

Molehill is a set of integrated tools that can function inside or outside of a tutoring context, and can be summoned by either the tutor or the student. Thus, they support real-world situated learning by easing the transition between a tutored and an untutored environment. Our demo shows the integration and interaction of these components in real-life learning situations drawn from our observations of actual learners working with the system.
