Research in HCI and usability at IBM's user interface institute

Abstract

The UII does not represent all HCI and usability research conducted at the T. J. Watson Research Center. We have, however, built a unique, multi-disciplinary center of competence in several areas important to the creation of usable software. Our integrated program of research and collaboration with IBM development has achieved some success in both applied and theoretical domains.
