Magnetic properties of amorphous and liquid PdSi alloys
Abstract
The magnetic susceptibility, the electrical resistivity and the Hall coefficient of Pd81Si19 and Pd77.5Cu6Si16.5 in the glassy, crystalline and liquid state have been measured. The small magnetic susceptibility in the glassy and liquid state has been explained by the reduction of the density of states at the Fermi energy as observed in XPS measurements. © 1977.
