Design of non-systematic 3-SyEC/AUED codes of asymptotically optimal order
Abstract
Summary form only given. The design of balanced binary block codes that are capable of correcting up to three symmetric errors and detecting all unidirectional errors has been investigated. Nonsystematic, 3-symmetric, error-correcting/all-unidirectional-error-detecting (3-SyEC/AUED) codes that are of asymptotically optimal order in redundancy have been constructed.
