Diwakar Mahajan

Diwakar Mahajan is a Data Scientist in the Healthcare and Life Sciences Department at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center. He joined the Watson Research team in 2016, and has been working towards developing novel technologies for healthcare informatics. His research interests lie at the intersection of natural language processing, machine learning and biomedical informatics, with a focus on summarizing the Electronic Health Records (EHR) to support clinical practice. Prior to joining IBM, he was a Research Scientist at TCS Innovation Labs in India, working on social media analytics. Diwakar received his M.S. in computer science from Columbia University with a specialization in machine learning and natural language processing.
