X-ray studies of magnetic nanoparticle assemblies
Abstract
A study was performed on the x-ray analysis of magnetic nanoparticle assemblies. To study the annealed FePt nanoparticle assemblies, the magnetic measurements were combined with x-ray diffraction and near edge x-ray absorption fine structure spectroscopy. It was found that annealing for longer times led to higher coercivity of the nanoparticles.
