Slow surface relaxation of germanium
Abstract
The influence of temperature, ambient atmosphere, and light on the slow surface conductance relaxation of germanium was investigated. The effect of water was found to be very significant, and was studied in detail. The experimental results are discussed in terms of a model that uses ion migration in the oxide layer as the cause for slow surface phenomena. © 1963 The American Institute of Physics.
