Orientation phase transition in Fe3 B O6: Experimental determination of the order of the transition
Abstract
Magnetization, coercive force, radio frequency, and static susceptibilities were measured near the magnetic orientation phase transition point of the Fe3 B O6 crystal. The data exhibit characteristic features of both first and second order transitions, thus indicating the nearly intermediate nature of the Γ2 - Γ4 transition in this material. © 2006 The American Physical Society.
