High resolution electron energy loss studies of adsorbates utilizing impact and resonance scattering
Abstract
The nondipolar electron scattering processes of impact and resonance scattering from adsorbed molecules are discussed. Examples of O2, H2, benzene, pyridine and cyclohexane adsorption on Ag(111) are presented to illustrate the potential of nondipolar scattering to provide new physical information regarding adsorption and surface reactions. © 1983.
