Fractional spin polarization in the model of photoemission from localized shells
Abstract
Photoemission from a localized 3d shell in the magnetically ordered state (T = 0 K) is considered. It is shown that the spin coupling between the photoelectron and the ion core left behind leads to spin polarization values smaller than 100% for emission of minority spin electrons. © 1978.
