Abstract
This paper introduces the application of quality control techniques to help you determine whether a process needs intervention. You will want to identify when a short term fluctuation becomes significant, when a longer term trend appears and most important, determine what sort of action is appropriate. There are many potential pitfalls in presentation techniques even when the correct information is being used. Some are mentioned, but are not the prime purpose of this paper.
