Takayuki Katsuki (勝木 孝行) is a machine learning researcher at IBM Research - Tokyo. He received his Ph.D. in Probabilistic Information Processing from Waseda University. His research interests include machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data mining, especially in hierarchical models, such as Bayesian modeling, deep neural networks, reinforcement learning, and image/vision models. The application areas include Healthcare, Material Informatics, Internet of Things (IoT), Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), and Image Processing.
