Ryan Delucchi

Ryan Delucchi is a Software Engineer/Architect with over 20 years of industry experience, designing and building software applications and web-services. His experience spans multiple programming languages (namely Java, Python, Scala, Go and Haskell) and encompasses engineering backend systems, tooling and pure-functional programming (declarative code w/ an emphasis on referential transparency). As of joining IBM Research in 2022, his emphasis has shifted to a more R&D-focus, starting with Accelerated Discovery Platform on the Digital Health Team.

Current work on the Digital Health Team involves the ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) machine learning / data pipeline, state-less Recommendation Engine and a distributed data ingestion/processing framework.
