Anna joined IBM Research Zurich in 2023 as a Ph.D. candidate in the Quantum Transduction and Photonics group in the Science of Quantum and Information Technology department. She is part of the H2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Innovative Training Networks project on Controlling network random lasers on chip (CORAL). During this project, she conducted the first half of her Ph.D. at Imperial College London before joining IBM for the second half.
Her work focuses on integration and lasing control of complex III-V microlaser systems on-chip. This includes studies on coupling in microdisk lasers, plasmonic surface lattice resonance lasers, random network lasers, and their applications for physical machine learning.
Anna holds an M.Sc. in Chemistry and Physics and a B.Sc. in Interdisciplinary Sciences from ETH Zurich.
