About

Typical air-cooled data centers consume 25-35% of the total data center energy usage and 1.8 liters of water per kWh for cooling. IBM Research jointly with the IBM Infrastructure division, is developing an energy-efficient two-phase cooling system for data center servers to significantly reduce energy and eliminate water usage. At the ARPA-E Summit 2024 (Booth # 323), the IBM team will be showcasing some of their latest prototypes and giving a live demo of their state-of-the-art modeling tools.
