Practical approach to the living polymerization of commercially important monomers such as 1,3-dienes and acrylamides
Abstract
The living free radical polymerization of acrylamides and 1,3-dienes in the presence of alkoxyamine initiators are investigated. A living free radical procedure for the controlled polymerization of these monomers and related block copolymers under these simplified conditions present an improvement and demonstrate the versatility of nitroxide mediated living free radical techniques.
