Surface Science
A scheme for computing the structure factor of large angle boundaries which can be described in terms of a coincidence superlattice is presented. The superlattice spans both crystals and is used as a reference lattice. The structure factors of two large‐angle coincidence boundaries — the twin and lateral twin boundaries in face centered cubic structures — are calculated to illustrate the method.
