Management science and strategic planning
Abstract
This paper describes the main stages involved in developing the strategic plan using the tools of the management science. The author brings out the point that there is a definite similarity between strategic planning in the private sector and in the public sector and that the same broad principles of management science can be applied in both the sectors. Various types of computer models incorporating management science techniques which can be, and have been, successfully applied in this activity are described. © 1971.
