Application of high density resistivity method to karst exploration
Abstract
Along with the rapid development of expressways, the harmfulness of karst (It is a kind of typical bad geological phenomenon) in construction is more obvious. This article simply introduces the electrostatic field theory and the work characteristics of the high density resistivity method and how to use this method to investigate karst in a certain expressway construction to obtain the visual resistance ratio 2D imaging drawing of the surveyed area. It analyzes the abnormity, high and low resistance of the 2D imaging drawing, inferrs the distribution area, size and burial depth of the underground karst caves, and verifies that the result is the same as the that of the drilling data.
