Bio
Niall Robertson is a Research Scientist in Quantum Computing at the IBM Research lab in Dublin. He has a PhD in theoretical physics from Institut de Physique Théorique Saclay and a Master’s degree from the University of Cambridge where he completed Part iii of the Mathematical Tripos. After a postdoc at the University of Barcelona, he joined IBM in 2021. His research focuses on quantum simulation, tensor networks and quantum compilation.
