Monodeep Kar

I am a Research Staff Member at the IBM T.J. Watson Research Center in Yorktown Heights, NY. My research focuses on:

• AI hardware architecture
• Numerics and energy efficiency in AI acceleration
• Power-performance modeling of AI systems

Previously, I was a Research Scientist at Intel Labs (2017–2020). I received my Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, USA, in 2017, and my B.Tech in Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India, in 2012.
