Bio
Dr. Tobia Boschi is a Research Scientist at IBM Research Dublin. Before joining IBM, Tobia received a Ph.D. in Statistics from Penn State University and an M.Sc degree in Mathematical Engineering from Politecnico Di Milano.
Tobia's research focuses mainly on supervised methods for Functional Data. In his work, he combines statistics, machine learning, optimization, and advanced computing techniques to improve the quality of the estimates and perform variable selection. His methods are particularly relevant for "Omics" and Health and Biomedical studies.
