Development of the spin-resolved photoemission spectroscopy for magnetic materials
Abstract
The development of spin-, angle-, and energy-resolved photoemission spectroscopy for magnetic materials, its main fields of application, and its contributions to the understanding of the relation between magnetism/surface magnetism and the electronic structure of materials is described. Results already exist in the field of many-body satellites, bulk band structures, magnetic surface states, effects of thin films and adsorbates, as well as magnetism just below the Curie temperature.
