A new driving method for reducing cross-talk in high resolution thin film transistor liquid crystal displays
Abstract
A new driving scheme to compensate for cross-talk in thin film transistor liquid crystal displays (TFT-LCDs) that is image pattern independent and has no background grayscale variation is presented. In addition, we examine the tradeoffs of existing commercially used cross-talk compensative driving schemes. Results correlating crosstalk capacitor magnitude as a function of display size and density scaling to various types of cross-talk display driving schemes is presented. © 1995 The Japan Society of Applied Physics.
