Ritajit Majumdar

Dr. Ritajit Majumdar is a Research Scientist at IBM Quantum, IBM India Research Lab where he focuses on the enablement of both internal and external researchers with the primary goal of helping them achieve utility scale results using IBM Quantum devices. He did his PhD from Indian Statistical Institute. During PhD, he was a long term visiting scholar at IBM Thomas J Watson Research Centre, New York, with the coveted Fulbright-Nehru Doctoral Research Fellowship. Prior to PhD, he was an Assistant Professor at B. P. Poddar Institute of Management and Technology, affiliated to MAKAUT, and remained a visiting faculty there during his PhD tenure. Ritajit is a recipient of the gold medal from Calcutta University for his Masters, and was awarded the prestigious DST Inspire Fellowship.
