Daniil Frolov is a Research Staff Member at IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center, Yorktown Heights, NY, where he is currently working on cryogenic mixed signal integrated circuits, superconducting qubit technologies and low noise measurement techniques. Before joining IBM, he was a Bardeen Fellow at Fermilab in Batavia, IL and worked on superconducting radio frequency cavities, pulsed power and high voltage instrumentation for particle accelerators. He received the Ph.D. degree in Radio Physics from Southern Federal University, Rostov-on-Don and the Dipl.-Ing. degree in Radio Frequency Engineering from Kuban State University, Krasnodar. His graduate work was focused on phase distortion and group delay measurements in microwave mixers and development of the corresponding instrumentation.
