December 7, 2017 - IBM ranked 1st for high-quality science in Nature Index
Nature is a scientific journal that was first published in 1869, and is ranked among the world's top academic journals. It is one of the few remaining academic journals that publishes original research across a wide range of scientific fields. The Nature Index ranks publication productivity at the institutional and national level, and is a recognized indicator of global high-quality research output. In the recently announced Nature Index of the five-year period from 2012 to 2016, IBM is first in the top 100 corporate institutions for high-quality science. Four of the top 100 corporate-academic collaborations also involve IBM. As one of the company's global research labs, IBM's Cybersecurity Center of Excellence in Ben-Gurion University is proud to be a part of the company's innovation hubs (see this link for an overview of IBM's collaborative research projects with the university).
