TONER ADHESION IN ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PRINTERS.
Abstract
The adhesion of electrophotographic toner particles to photoconductor surfaces has been measured to test the hypothesis suggested by previous results that adhesion is dominated by electrostatic forces and the charge distribution on a toner particle is highly localized. The present data support this picture. No indication of other adhesion forces was observed.
