THERMAL ACTIVATION IN EXTREMELY UNDERDAMPED SQUIDS.
Abstract
Kramer's treatment of the noise-activated escape of extremely underdamped particles out of a metastable well is extended to cover a wider range of damping constants. We treat transitions between fluxoid states of a SQUID taking the energy as described by a symmetric double well potential.
