Study of meander line delay in circuit boards

Abstract

A full-wave electromagnetic analysis was performed on a set of meander lines located in a circuit board to determine the effect of meander pitch on the delay. Detailed sensitivity analyses of the gridding and skin-effect models demonstrated that the accuracy was within a small fraction of 1%.
