Simple high sensitivity microbalance for use in ultra-high vacuum
Abstract
A piezoelectric quartz crystal microbalance, utilizing a commercially available crystal, is described. It is bakeable for ultra-high vacuum use. It has been employed in adsorption studies and for measurement of deposition rates in condensation and polymerization processes. © 1963 The American Institute of Physics.
