Role of network morphology on texture transitions in polymer stabilized cholesteric liquid crystals
Abstract
Polymer stabilized cholesteric texture cells were prepared using a variety of monomers and processing conditions. Structural studies, including SEM and in situ confocal microscopy, show a clear relationship between monomer solubility, network morphology, and resultant electro-optical properties.
