Relationship between layer thicknesses and recording properties in AFC media
Abstract
The relationship between layer thickness and recording properties in antiferromagnetically coupled (AFC) media was studied. AFC media was used to achieve high areal density while maintaining thermal stability. It was found that PW50 scales linearly with MrTeff.
