Postannealing of coldly condensed Ag films: Influence of pyridine preadsorption
Abstract
Scanning tunneling microscopy is used to demonstrate that pyridine adsorption at low temperature on coldly condensed Ag films results in trenchlike features after annealing to room temperature. These features are tentatively assigned to reshaped intercrystallite channels present before annealing. © 1985 The American Physical Society.
