Novel 40GHz pulse source with <350 femtosecond timing jitter
Abstract
We demonstrate a simple 40 GHz pulse source by combining a fundamental mode-locked 10 GHz laser with a planar integrated time-division multiplexer. Pulse trains with >0 dBm average power and <350 fs timing jitter were achieved.
