Model for ferroelectric Gd2(MoO4)3
Abstract
Based on recent X-ray data, it is suggested that the phase transition in Gd2(MoO4)3 is a structural transition driven by a soft q ≠ 0 mode. A tentative model to account for the elastic and ferroelectric properties is presented. © 1970.
