Invited: Magnetic bubbles-Status and future
Abstract
Magnetic bubble storage modules with 92,000 bits per chip have been shipped in portable terminals, and chips with 1-million bits have been demonstrated. This paper will review the status of conventional and nonconventional bubble devices, analyze technical trends and limits, and project the future of magnetic bubbles in the market.
