High-field magnetoresistance of dilute CuSingle Bond signMn and CuSingle Bond signFe alloys
Abstract
We have measured the magnetoresistance of dilute CuSingle Bond signMn and CuSingle Bond signFe alloys with impurity concentrations ranging from 0.14-0.12 at.% Mn and 0.04-0.40 at.% Fe, respectively, in the temperature range 1.3°-88°K and in magnetic fields up to 200 kOe. In CuSingle Bond signFe it is found that an appreciable part of the magnetoresistance is due to the field dependence of the scattering amplitudes. In the case of CuSingle Bond signMn, the magnetoresistance does not exhibit the expected saturation in high fields. © 1969 The American Institute of Physics.
