Glass behavior of high-Tc superconductors
Abstract
The glass behavior of high-Tc superconductors is reproduced in numerical simulations of a 2-D XY-spin-glass model. Higher critical temperatures are predicted for stronger interlayer couplings between the planes. Higher critical currents for a ceramic are expected for enhanced alignment of the planes in different grains of the material. © 1988.
