Creeping viscous flow through a circular tube of nonuniform cross section
Abstract
Creeping viscous flow in a nonuniform pipe is analyzed by faking the local velocity profile and pressure gradients to be those of flow in a cone-shaped region. With this approach it is not necessary to assume that the pipe radius is a slowly varying function of distance along the axis. © 1972 by ASME.
