Computer simulation of the imaging of magnetic domains in the scanning electron microscope
Abstract
The imaging of magnetic domains in the scanning electron microscope has been investigated by computer simulation. The results show that information about the magnetization is carried only by low energy-loss electrons. Unwanted background could therefore be removed by filtering out low energy electrons. Energy filtering also results in increased resolution. © 1980.
