Abstract
We report a compact, low-profile transceiver with 24 transmitter and 24 receiver channels, each operating at 12.5 Gb/s. The achieved 300 Gb/s aggregate bi-directional data rate is the highest ever reported for parallel optical modules. © 2008 Optical Society of America.
