Athanasios Vasilopoulos

Athanasios (Thanos) Vasilopoulos holds the position of Predoctoral Researcher in the In-Memory Computing group at IBM Research in Zürich. He obtained an Integrated Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Patras in 2021 where he has been actively pursuing a Ph.D. since 2023. He first joined IBM Research as an Intern in 2021, assuming his current position in 2023. His research is centered on architectures and algorithms for in-memory computing systems, with a specific emphasis on applications within the field of Artificial Intelligence.
