Elena Ferro is currently a Predoctoral Researcher in the In-Memory Computing group at IBM Research Zurich, a position she assumed in 2021. She studied Micro- and Nanotechnologies for Integrated Systems and received a double M.Sc. Degree in 2020 from Politecnico di Torino and Grenoble INP, and a joint degree title from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). Elena earned her Bachelor's degree in Physical Engineering from Politecnico di Torino. Elena's research is primarily centered around digital hardware design and architectures for in-memory computing systems, with a specific focus on applications within the field of Artificial Intelligence.
