As a Business Development Executive for IBM Research, Phil is focused on structuring and negotiating intellectual property (IP) licensing and joint development opportunities around AI software and high performance multi-cloud in order to help our worldwide clients accelerate achievement of their innovation goals. His current focus is the Safer Materials initiative, which leverages new AI technology to enable organizations to address and mitigate risk related to materials of concern that may be present in their products, processes and supply chain. His background includes leadership roles for IBM Technology in product management, marketing, competitive intelligence and strategy.
