Max Rossmannek joined the Quantum Technology group of the Science & Technology department at IBM Research Europe in Zurich for his Master's thesis in 2019. After receiving his MSc degree in Computational Science and Engineering from ETH in 2020 he now continues to work at IBM as a pre-doctoral researcher.
In his current research he focuses on developing algorithms for the simulation of quantum chemical systems using state-of-the-art quantum computers.
In parallel, he is also co-maintaining Qiskit Nature, the open-source Qiskit package for the simulation of natural science problems on quantum computers.
