Bio

I am a Principal Researcher in Information Security at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center. I am a hands-on technical leader and researcher with a deep and broad expertise in the security domain, and in exploring cutting-edge technologies such as GenAI, zero trust, and blockchain to deliver innovative security solutions and use cases. Over the years, I have successfully delivered impactful technologies in various domains of computer security, including automated security and compliance, identity management, IoT security, mobile security, and web security. Being a technologist at heart, my approach to problem-solving revolves around building practical systems to tackle real-world security issues. I am always eager to explore ways to create more secure systems and networks.

Previously, I received my PhD from the College of Computing at Georgia Institute of Technology. I was affiliated with Georgia Tech Information Security Center (GTISC). I completed my Master's degree in the Department of Computer Science at the University of British Columbia and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science in the Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee, India.
