Visualizing Cantor cheese construction

This note introduces the reader to Cantor cheese, an artistically interesting analog of the Cantor set described by Mandelbrot. A related object, the solenoid, is also explored. Computer programs are given for Cantor cheese and solenoid construction. © 1990.
