Using stationary vehicles to enhance cooperative positioning in Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks

Abstract

A new approach to enhance Cooperative Positioning (CP) in Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks (VANETs) using stationary vehicles is presented. Tests using SUMO simulations show some preliminary benefits of the approach.
